About the District

Maxwell is in the center of Colusa County and in the middle of the Central Valley Project.  The Maxwell Irrigation District offers a range of water services to meet the diverse needs of our members.

 

1. Water Delivery: Our infrastructure ensures efficient and timely water delivery to agricultural lands and managed wetlands within our district.

2. Irrigation Management: We provide expertise and support to help farmers optimize their irrigation practices, maximizing crop and wetland habitat yield while conserving water resources.

3. Water Availability and Conservation: We represent the needs of the District in regional and state efforts to provide sustainable water availability. We encourage responsible water use and conservation efforts among our members.

4. Member Engagement: We are actively involved with member outreach and communication, promoting awareness of water issues and sustainable water management practices.
